Students on their laptops

Each year, families are required to verify student emergency information and submit updated health information. This ensures we have a current home address, phone number, emergency contact and health information on file. All of these items help us keep students safe while at school.

We have a few open seats on our community-led Capital Facilities Advisory Committee (CFAC). Add your name to the lottery by Monday, September 26 at 9:00 a.m. if you live in Highline and are serious about helping prioritize 10 older schools for future bonds.

We want you to be ready for the start of the school year. Here are nine things to do as you get ready for the first day of school.

Dr. Ivan Duran

It is a great honor to begin my role as your new superintendent. The opportunity to serve Highline’s students, staff, families, and community is a source of great joy, excitement, and optimism. Thank you again to our school board for its confidence in my leadership. I am also extremely grateful for the tremendous legacy of excellence created by the school board, Dr. Enfield, and the district’s leadership, educators, staff, and community.
