Next week, technicians will visit schools and central office locations to update staff devices and passwords. This is part of our efforts to get back online following the cyber incident last month. The process will take place from Monday, October 14, through Friday, October 18.
Here is the plan for student devices, based on device type:
- Students with Windows devices will need their device reimaged. Schools will communicate directly to impacted students with instructions.
- Students with Chromebooks will not need to have their device reimaged.
All students will need to reset their passwords. We are developing a plan and will share more details in future communications. Until passwords are reset, students should not use their district-issued device.
