College & Career
High school graduation is not the end of our students' education; it is just the beginning. The jobs of the future will require further learning after high school and we want students to be prepared for the pathway they choose.
That's why Highline is intentionally focusing beyond graduation, to prepare students to successfully complete some form of education after high school, including technical training, a two-year degree program or a four-year university experience. All are good options.
It is never too early to begin thinking about post-high school education—even in elementary school. As students enter middle and high school, they will maximize their options for higher education by choosing to take challenging classes, seeking out help from teachers and counselors, and pushing themselves to overcome challenges.
