Athletics

All student athletes must have an updated physical on file before they can start practice in any sport, including off-season participation. Physical exams are valid for participation for 24 months from the date of the exam. Registration on FinalForms is also required for participation. Please allow 24 hours for review and approval of registration not including registrations submitted after hours or over the weekend.  

Next Steps - ACTION REQUIRED:

Parents/Guardians must upload their student athlete's completed/signed/dated Physical Evaluation form onto the FinalForms portal after your physician's visit.  Keep all original documents for your file. 

Please DO NOT bring the Physical Evaluation form to the school.  Once you upload your document onto the FinalForms portal - our Athletic Director will be able to approve it electronically.

Sports Participation Fee:  $50.00   

Please do not pay this fee until after final rosters are set --

on Monday, March 13th, 2023.

Special Note:

For families who completed the Income Survey online and were sent an approval email --- PLEASE bring a copy or screenshot of your email directly to the Bookkeeping Office after March 13th, 2023 to complete the Extracurricular Fee waiver process.

Reminder:

All outstanding Fines & Fees on student accounts should be paid in full before the end of the school year.  If you return the item(s), the related fines will be removed immediately upon receipt.

Debit/Credit Cards: 

Pay Fines/Fees using our online payment portal. 

• All athletes must ride the team bus to and from athletic contests. 
• Students must be present and on time to school in order to practice or play in a game on any given day in the season. Exceptions include school field trips, and absences or dismissals pre-arranged ahead of time by the Athletic Director i.e. Doctor/dental appointments.
• Practice and game schedules, particularly in the case of winter and spring sports, include school vacation weeks for all teams. Students and families should take this into consideration when students decide to try out for teams that have vacation week game/practice schedules. 

To gain access to the Directed Athletics course and earn PE credit, please learn more on our district page. In order to earn credit for sports participation, students must complete a course on Canvas for the season they are currently participating.

Steps to enroll in the Directed Athletics Canvas Course:

• Register using the linked form on the district page.
  • Scroll down to Program Information
• Once registered, students will receive an invitation to the Directed Athletics course in Canvas.
  • Students should access Canvas through ClassLink
• Coursework must be completed in Canvas by specified times for each season.
